While my formal education and training in civil building inspection gave me a foundation, the more valuable knowledge comes from direct field experience: what I’ve seen and handled firsthand.
The hands-on work has given me intimate knowledge of how building envelope construction and cladding systems perform over time, including the installation and long-term behavior of subsurface drainage and concrete foundations.
Combined with my formal training, this real-work field experience gives me a qualified understanding of compliant versus non-compliant construction practices, and a clear sense of what holds up over time and what fails.
